The Kurinuki set is inspired by nature—its textures and details were transformed into clay shaping process, as wind, as sea waves, as deteriorated rock and landscape.
A Japanese gardening principle (Fukinsei) of asymmetry and irregularity about nature aesthetics: sometimes they are placed out of order.
Playing around the shaping steps back and forth, sometimes I imagine myself walking inside the valley, yet sometimes I fly up high and look down the mountain by bird's eye view.
Walk more towards nature; we will find some unexpected scenery which breaks the perception of "perfection". Afterwards, I choose different drought plants to match with those pots to reveal the beauty of the irregularity.
